There are the different services, websites and products that I use behind the scenes at the Music Therapy Tween.

Session Resources:

This is a complete online database of songs categorized by subject. The best part is that when you use their search feature it finds matches by topic rather than just keyword! You can even filter search results by genre or ‘hits only’ (my favorite choice). That’s why this website is every Music Therapist’s dream come true. Image Editing:

I use this website to edit pictures and add text. It’s pretty easy to use and the premium account it totally worth it.

Blog:

The Music Therapy Tween uses the Thesis template. For years I used free themes but was always blocked with some kind of problem. All those problems disappeared once I switched to Thesis. Highly recommended.

I use PowWeb for my web hosting and am happy with their service. Their telephone help support and online chat support have been really useful for me since I started with no knowledge abut web hosting!

I buy all my domains through GoDaddy.com. VERY easy to use this company and even though I use a different web hosting company it is not difficult to connect the two together to make the blog run smoothly.

Marketing:

When it comes to newsletters and RSS-email campaigns check out Mail Chimp. It’s really user friendly and has a lot of great tutorials so help you set up whatever you want for your website/blog/brand. AND it’s free. Did I mention that it is Free?
